1. Los Angeles Rams The only negative now for the team is losing DB’s Aqib Talib for a month and Marcus Peters for possibly a few weeks. Other wise this team has been so dominant out the gate and have a quality win under their belt. 2. Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes has absolutely been a Godsend to the Kansas City franchise. An NFL record 13 touchdowns through 3 games. My lone concern for the Chiefs is their defense which currently ranks 32nd in the NFL. They can’t stop a nose bleed. 3. Philadelphia Eagles The return of Carson Wentz was not pretty. But they got the win against a frisky Colts team. 4. Jacksonville Jaguars I was afraid of the let down factor after last week’s win over New England. Plus Tennessee always poses issues to the Jags. Only reason they did not fall further in the rankings this week is other fellow top 10ers also let down in a big way. 5. New Orleans Saints It’s clear that as long as Drew Brees is healthy he has a few more quality seasons in him. What a terrific performance in Atlanta vs. a divisional opponent. They made a huge jump in the rankings. 6. Carolina Panthers No one is paying attention to this team. Plus Cam Newton is quietly putting together another MVP type season. I said coming into the season that the Panthers were the biggest dark horse in the NFC. 7. New England Patriots A 1-2 start and some are beginning to panic. This is the first time in a number of years the Patriots have lost back to back games by double digits. It here is why I’m reluctant to panic this early. They get Julian Edelman in another week. The team still have not implemented newly acquired Josh Gordon to the team. This week’s matchup vs. the Miami Dolphins will go a long way as to where this team is at. A 1-3 start will definitely raise the volume on doubters. 8. Miami Dolphins Whether or not you believe this team is for real, through three weeks they have not lost a single game. Their first big test of the season is this coming Sunday in New England. 9. Minnesota Vikings Such a let down and shocking loss to the Buffalo Bills last week. It has actually taken some of the juice out of their big matchup this Thursday night vs. the Rams. But it could also be looked at as the wake up call needed for the team. We shall see. 10. Pittsburgh Steelers Their season was saved on Monday Night even though they nearly blew a 20 point lead in Tampa. Still not out the woods in terms of drama but for now they get their first win of the season. The AFC North remains wide open. THE OTHER 22 11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 12. Atlanta Falcons 13. Cincinnati Bengals 14. Baltimore Ravens 15. Green Bay Packers 16. Chicago Bears 17. Washington Redskins 18. Tennessee Titans 19. Indianapolis Colts 20. Los Angeles Chargers 21. Denver Broncos 22. Cleveland Browns 23. Detroit Lions 24. Seattle Seahawks 25. New York Giants 26. New York Jets 27. Buffalo Bills 28. Dallas Cowboys 29. San Francisco 49ers 30. Oakland Raiders 31. Houston Texans 32.
