Selection Sunday 2016, NFL Free Agency Reaction, Steph Curry Perspective

•Everyone is going to bitch about teams being left off of their bracket of 64 (who cares about the first four really) but this is all I know. Tom Izzo and Michigan State win the Big Ten title and their reward is NOT getting a #1 seed in any region. Someone is going to pay and it might come in Izzo getting his boys back to another Final Four. In fact I’ll put my money on it.

•I’m rooting for the Miami Hurricanes in the tourney. I have alot of close friends who are fans, plus I can tolerate their basketball program — you know being a Florida State die hard and all.

•This college basketball season also wraps up the first time in 25 years I honestly showed virtually zero interest in college basketball. Should I be ashamed? A little. Most of my recent disinterest has to do with that dumb one and done rule. Some of it also may be attributed to being an NBA junkie and prioritizing TV binging with the Mrs.

•Probably the most annoying thing about March Madness now is everyone pretending they actually watched college ball this season and defending their stupid bracket. Stop with that. You weren’t paying attention between November-February. Don’t start now.

•I’m the minority here but I loved that Brock Osweiler bolted Denver for Houston.  As I reiterated on my podcast throughout the NFL playoffs that it was Brock, not Peyton Manning who deserved and earned in my opinion to be the starting quarterback for the Broncos for their eventual Super Bowl run. It was Brock who went 5-2 to close the season and synch the #1 seed in the AFC which honestly bolstered their Super Bowl chances cause there was no chance in hell — Peyton or no Peyton, Denver wins the AFC title in Foxboro. He should’ve felt disrespected.

•Don’t judge me but I don’t necessarily hate the Mark Sanchez to Denver move. Now will he be the starter come Week 1? Your guess is as good as mine.

•I know a bunch of the old timers such as Oscar Robertson and Charles Barkley are a bit butt-hurt over Stephen Curry’s absolutely bonkers of a year and deem it cool to poke holes at otherwise the greatness of this season but maybe — just maybe for the folks who may side with the elder statesmen — check this 3 minute video for perspective on just how awesome Curry has been in 2015-16.
