•Outside the ‘86 root of mistrust from the front office, there wasn’t anything I didn’t already know anything from the first two episodes of #TheLastDance. The extra layer of footage allowed that really was the most exciting. That said the whole thing is well put together. •Jerry Krause is the weirdest part of this whole story and a an example of how all things can be correct. He was an incredible executive and should be lauded as such. He was also a buffoon in how he handled the Bulls in its final years. •It surprises me that people are actually stunned that Michael Jordan was an asshole. But he’s still the GOAT. Both things are correct. •If you saw the Dennis Rodman documentary that ESPN dropped last year, you’ll probably get an idea of how that will be presented once they get to that portion of the story. Assuming they do. •For all the shit Krause took about wanting to “rebuild” a dynastic team, why doesn’t more blame and criticism go to Jerry Reinsdorf? That’s always bugged me. Kinda feels like Krause was used as a scapegoat. •I have no problem with Scottie Pippen opting to have surgery much later in 97/98 to make a point. I also don’t necessarily disagree with Michael Jordan perspective from where he stands. Pippen was warned before hand that Jerry Reinsdorf does not do renegotiations wants you commit. As fucked up as it was, that’s on Scottie. |
