Game Of Thrones: S8E3 Power Rankings

I honestly wish I started doing this years ago when I started the show but never executed it. Anyone that knows me knows I love ranking things. It’s just who I am. What I do. So for the remainder of this series I’ll be providing a brief Top 5 of who made the most impact on each episode.

Here we go.

1. Arya Stark

This really isn’t a surprise. She went from literally entering womanhood for the first time to hours later killing the biggest villain (outside Cersei Lannister) on the entire show. She’s the MVP of the entire series now if the show ended today. Thankfully it doesn’t.

2. Melisandre

​One of the biggest underrated themes of this season is redemption. We’ve seen it with Jamie Lannister. Theon Greyjoy is the other one that even I admittedly have to respect and honor. Now Melisandre entered the redemption circle as she was a catalyst in helping team Winterfell stave off the dead. Without her using her spell to light the fire on two separate occasions it’s more than possible the rest of Winterfell would’ve been dead on arrival.

3. Lyanna Mormont

She may have died but she did got the absolute last laugh in stabbing the ever living fuck of the big ass giant dead square in the eye. That alone deserves a salute, a raised glass and a toast. 

4. Jorah and Daenerys

Moreso Jorah here because he gave his life in a battle alongside Dany. But I had no idea Dany had a ground game that didn’t feature a dragon. She can weird a sword with the best of them. That said Jorah was one of my personal favorite characters in the entire Game Of Thrones series. Sad that his watch has ended. 

5. Beric Dondarrion 

He saved most important character in the episode by literally giving his life in exchange for Arya and The Hound to escape the dead. Showed more guts than Mr. Sandor Clegane 

6. Theon Greyjoy

He was known on social media by yourself truly as #TheonThePussy. But this penis-less heel turned babyface stood guard as promised and protected Bran as long as he could before he pretty much killed himself at the hands of The Night King. He’s redeemed for the most part in my eyes. Now I know when I rewatch the entire series again I’m going to hate him all over. Least I have the knowledge that he eventually sees the light”.
