Earnestly Speaking NFL Week 5 Picks vs. The Spread (2017)

Week 4 was the worst week I have ever dealt with in terms of these games vs. the spread. I was sub .500 at 6-10 and honestly if it wasn't for the Kansas City Chiefs miracle backdoor cover at the end of their Monday Night win over the Washington Redskins, Week 4 would have been a mitigated disaster of me.

But I do not want anyone to be discouraged. I know many on social media will make fun of me. Hell all my friends already do. But I don't see them putting up their own predictions week after week to be picked and prodded either.

Either way I expect to bounce back. This week also marks the first set of bye weeks for the 2017 season. Atlanta, Denver, New Orleans and Washington are all on bye weeks. The Falcons of the four teams need it the most in my opinion.
