Draymond Green is a dick

I like Draymond Green.

I love that he is as outspoken off the court as he is passionate on the court.

But today he took his bully pulpit a little too far.

Don’t bring my name up No neck. I’m not the topic of y’all conversation today.

It is widely assumed that this tweet was directed at ESPN’s NBA reporter Brian Windhorst.

So why would Windy catch Draymond’s ire?

It may have something to do with this.

Notning that Windhorst said was out of line. In fact one can definitely argue that he was on the money in his opinion that Kevin Durant has definitely been targeted by officials but that its Durant himself who has most to blame for that.

Kevin Durant has already been tossed out of four games this season.

I love that Draymond Green defended his teammate. It’s noble and it sets a positive tone for the Golden State Warriors locker room. I just don’t think fat shaming a media member by pointing out he has “no neck” who’s merely just doing his job and not even remotely saying anything offensive or demeaning is unbecoming of Draymond.

To put it poignantly. It was a dick move.
